A day at sea, with time ashore.

Leave Marina Zeas in Piraeus for a full day in the Saronic Gulf. Spend free time on Agistri and Aegina, with a swimming stop chosen by the crew at Aponisos, Moni or Metopi according to the weather. Greek lunch and drinks are part of the day.

Travel aboard a motorised wooden sailing boat, with a professional crew and an onboard host. Between the stops, take in the coast and enjoy time on deck. Ashore, explore independently and return at the time given by the crew.

Get to know the route

Two island visits, with time for the sea.

Agistri and Aegina each bring something different to the day: a beachside pause, a harbour to explore and time to enjoy the Saronic Gulf from the water. Your island visits are free time. Choose what appeals to you, and follow the crew’s arrangements for returning to the boat.

Free time ashore

Agistri: a beach break at your own pace.

Agistri’s waterfront around Skala has sandy and pebbly stretches, cafés and the blue-domed church of Agioi Anargyroi. Spend your free time by the sea, take a stroll or settle into a café. The coastline continues towards Megalochori, giving the island its relaxed, village-by-village feel.

Feeling active? The optional bike tour from Megalochori to Chalikiada costs €10 per person; ask the crew on board.

Chosen for the day’s conditions

A swim stop, then Greek lunch on board.

Between the island visits, the crew selects a swimming location at Aponisos, Moni or Metopi according to the weather. Snorkelling equipment and water noodles are included, along with Greek lunch, drinks and time to enjoy the scenery from the boat.

Agistri and Aegina are the two shore visits; this stop is time for a swim. The captain may change the location or order of stops, or cancel the cruise, for weather and safety.

Harbour strolls and island flavours

Aegina: waterfront life and a taste of pistachio.

Aegina town brings colourful waterfront buildings, small streets and a lively island market. Stroll by the harbour, browse local shops or try the pistachios for which the island is known. A café stop or pistachio ice cream makes an easy addition to your own time ashore.

Interested in the island’s history? Kolona, near Aegina town, contains the remains of the Temple of Apollo. The Temple of Aphaia is a separate site farther inland. Kolona is a short walk from the harbour; Aphaia is a taxi ride inland, so check the crew’s return time first.

Guided island tours and monument admission are not included; food and shopping ashore are at your own expense.
